EmbedPress YouTube

EmbedPress YouTube

YouTube is the most popular video site in the world. Millions of websites use YouTube to host and showcase their videos.

The WordPress core supports YouTube videos embeds, but the YouTube add-on for EmbedPress gives you far more features. With the YouTube add-on, your videos will be responsive. You can set them to auto-play, or loop them when they finish. You can also customize the video display to match your site’s design.

Key features in EmbedPress YouTube

You can force closed captions to be shown by default for all your videos:

There is a “Display Controls” option that allows you to decide whether the video player controls are displayed. If you hide the options, then users will have none of the controls at the bottom of the video. This image below shows how plain the YouTube video will be:

You can decide whether the fullscreen button is enabled:

You can decide whether YouTube should show related videos when playback of the initial video ends:

You can specify the color that will be used for the player’s video progress bar. This bar will highlight the amount of the video that the viewer has already seen. By default, YouTube uses a white bar, but you can change this bar to white, as shown in the image below:

Finally, you can automatically start to play the videos when a page loads:
